TERMS & CONDITONS

By confirming a reservation or staying at Uttam Shanti, you agree to the terms and conditions mentioned below.

Check‑in time: From 2:00 PM onwards
Check‑out time: By 12:00 PM
Early check‑in or late check‑out may be offered subject to availability and may attract additional charges. Guests are requested to inform the hotel in advance for any such requests.

All bookings must be guaranteed with a valid credit card or advance payment, as communicated at the time of booking.
For certain packages or promotions, full payment may be required at the time of check‑in or at the time of booking, as applicable.
All room rates and services are subject to applicable taxes and service charges as per prevailing Indian laws and regulations.

Guests are required to present a valid government‑issued photo ID at the time of check‑in (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport or Driving Licence).
Only guests whose names appear on the reservation are permitted to stay in the room. The hotel may request details of all occupants at check‑in for security and regulatory purposes.

Uttam Shanti is currently not a pet‑friendly hotel.
Pets or animals of any kind are strictly not allowed within the hotel premises, including guest rooms and common areas.

Guests are expected to maintain decorum and behave respectfully towards hotel staff, fellow guests and property.
Any willful or accidental damage to hotel property, furnishings or equipment will be chargeable to the guest’s account, at the hotel’s discretion.
The hotel reserves the right to refuse service, cancel a booking or request a guest to vacate the premises in cases of inappropriate behaviour, nuisance, illegal activities, safety concerns or violation of these terms.

While reasonable care is taken for guest safety, Uttam Shanti is not liable for loss, theft or damage of personal belongings kept inside rooms, vehicles or public areas.
Guests are encouraged to use available in‑room safes (where provided) and to exercise normal precautions for their valuables and travel documents.
The hotel shall not be responsible for any injury, accident or health‑related issue arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Complimentary breakfast is included with every stay, as per the applicable plan at the time of booking.
At present, no additional meals or full in‑room dining services are available beyond the breakfast offering, unless specifically mentioned in a package.
Kitchenette facilities and basic kitchen equipment are available in designated rooms or on request, subject to availability. Guests using these facilities are responsible for:
- Safe and proper use of appliances
- Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness
- Avoiding activities that may cause damage, smoke or disturbance

Any damages or excessive cleaning requirements arising from misuse will be chargeable.

Cancellation terms and charges depend on the rate plan or offer selected at the time of booking (e.g., refundable, non‑refundable, special promotion).
Guests are advised to review the specific cancellation policy mentioned on the booking confirmation, whether booked directly with the hotel or through third‑party platforms.
Eligible refunds, if any, will be processed as per the policy of the original booking channel and may take a standard processing time as per banking/payment gateway norms.
In case of no‑show (guest does not arrive without prior intimation), the booking may be treated as cancelled and applicable charges may apply as per the rate plan.

Management reserves the right to modify, update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version will be deemed applicable for all stays and bookings.
Any disputes, claims or legal matters arising out of or in connection with stays at Uttam Shanti shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India.
